Welcome to the SKA SDP Rapthor Prefect Prototype documentation!

The `SKA SDP Rapthor Prefect Prototype <https://gitlab.com/ska-telescope/sdp/ska-sdp-rapthor-prefect-prototype>`_ 
is a demonstration of how to use the 
`Prefect <https://docs.prefect.io/v3/get-started>`_ workflow engine to 
orchestrate a basic self-calibration pipeline for radio astronomy data 
processing using `Dask <https://docs.dask.org/en/latest/>`_, 
`WSClean <https://wsclean.readthedocs.io/en/latest/>`_ and 
`DP3 <https://dp3.readthedocs.io/en/latest/>`_. This is intended to be 
used as a starting point for exploring how the 
`rapthor pipeline <https://rapthor.readthedocs.io/en/latest/>`_ could be 
orchestrated using Prefect in the future.

This is currently at the proof-of-concept stage, and is a work in progress
